Mission Statement

BBAM―where volunteers work together to support women
and their families as an expression of God's love.

 

Blessing Boutique:

Who are we?
A “free” store for ALL families in our community with clothing, footwear, bedding, baby/children's equipment, books and toys. All items are donated from the community and everyone is welcome to take, give and share.

When and Where?
Enter through the main entrance―glass doors @back parking lot.
Times: 10am-2pm 3rd Monday of each month―except July.
12pm-3:45pm Every Thurs. including July and Aug.

Donate When and Where?

Monday: 9:30am-11am
Thursday: during Boutique hours.
Come to the double doors under the overhang―Donaldson Dr. street side.

 

Women's Morning Out:

An interdenominational morning for women of all ages and their preschool aged children. Refreshments, workshops, crafts, devotional time, lunch and child minding for the children are offered. All services are free.

When and Where?

Wednesday: 9:30am-12:30pm. Closed for ALL school holidays and "snow days"

Emergency Hampers and Milk Vouchers:

These are available for individuals, families, the homeless, and/or travellers passing through who are in crisis and come to the church for temporary aid.

 

Harvest Blessings Bread Program:

Donated fresh vegetables are distributed to families in the community during the summer months. Bread donated by local retailers is also given out.

 

Community Christmas Hamper Program:

BBAM, in partnership with BFISS (Boundary Family & Individual Services Society) and the Boundary Community Food Bank coordinate the fund raising, collection of goods, packing and distribution of the Christmas hampers for the Boundary area. This includes individuals and families who may not meet the food bank's requirements but would genuinely benefit from extra support during the Christmas season. Referrals for a hamper come from churches, community and government agencies, and the general public. Donations come from individuals, churches, schools, community agencies and businesses.

Higher Ground:

A 12-step recovery program based on Biblical principals.
Men and women welcome. Please call Karren or Kristine for more information or to register for the next class.


Advocacy/Community Outreach Program:

For Men and Women

Advocating for and supporting clients through the court process, or in rental disputes, as well as assisting through the application process and/or appeal process with various government agencies. If you need help to apply for assistance, disability, pension, etc., we're here to help.
