Committed to Caring For You:
YOU ARE INVITED …
to become part of a H.O.M.E. Group
It is our desire to see every adult attend a H.O.M.E. Group to ensure that they are cared for.
A - H.O.M.E. Group gives you a sense of belonging and the assurance that you have somewhere to go in times of need or rejoicing. It is good to know that you are a part of something bigger.
It is impossible for the Senior Pastor to personally shepherd every person in our church body, which is why we have Elders & H.O.M.E. Group Leaders that we call Shepherding Couples. Our hope is to ensure that no one would slip through the cracks and be left feeling alone in the crowd.
Please consider becoming part of a group who can pray for you, care for you, and lovingly support you in your daily life. There is a group who can benefit from your participation
WHY
should there be small H.O.M.E. Groups?
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 More are better than one for improved productivity, for help in time of need, for warmth, for fellowship, for protection.
Exodus 18:17-26 Moses was encouraged to choose capable leaders to be involved in caring for the needs of the community.
Jesus’ small group was a group of 12.
The early church is our model.
Acts 2:42-47 The early believers met together to praise God, pray, learn, share, & encourage each other in temple courts & in their homes.
Acts 20:20 Apostle Paul taught in various homes.
Hebrews 10:24-25 Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love & good deeds. And let us not give up meeting together … let us encourage one another ...
